gChapter Four: The Civil Resolution Tribunal

The provincial government passed the Civil Resolution Tribunal Amendment Act in February 2018 which intents to move claims under $50,000 from the public court systems to a private system called the Civil Resolution Tribunal. This is a new process for all British Colombians and already raises questions about its potential violation of the Charter of Rights and Freedom by classifying people into two classes.
