Kodie was born and raised in Surrey, British Columbia. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Legal Studies from Simon Fraser University, where he also worked as a research assistant in the Criminology Department. Upon graduation, he moved to Vancouver Island and went on to complete his law degree at the University of Victoria.
During his studies, Kodie volunteered as a mentor for rural youth across B.C. who were interested in pursuing post-secondary education. He also volunteered with the Watershed Watch Salmon Society doing habit clean ups and at the local cat shelter.
He joined Mussio Goodman as a Summer Student in 2022, gaining experience in both wills and estates and personal injury litigation.
Outside of work Kodie enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, bouldering, snowboarding, cycling, and anything else that gets him outdoors.
